Tesni Ward is an award-winning professional wildlife photographer and Olympus ambassador based on the outskirts of the Peak District.
While the majority of her work focuses on British wildlife, Tesni also photographs projects across the world and has aspirations to promote conservation and education through her images. This is evident from recent activities with the Sea Life Trust; a global charity dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans and marine life, and Tesni’s documentary of two Beluga whales called Little Grey and Little White. The two whales embarked on a journey of over 6000 miles from Shanghai to the world’s first Beluga whale sanctuary in Iceland in spring 2019. Tesni followed their journey capturing images of the pair to share with the world.
Tesni achieved a category win (Animal Portraits) at the British Wildlife Photography Awards in 2018 and is regularly invited to sit as an expert for live interviews and coverage with BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Wales among many other stations/channels. She has published numerous articles in many leading specialist publications including Outdoor Photographer, Digital Photographer, Amateur Photographer and more.
Tesni is a brand ambassador for other global imaging brands including Benro & PermaJet.
